You’ve got a letter from your English pen-friend in which he/she writes that he/she would like to spend his/her holidays reading interesting books and asks your opinion on that.
Write a letter to your pen-friend in which you tell him/her
- what kind of book you read last and who recommended you to read it
- what literary genre you prefer and why and
- give some pieces of advice on how to spend holidays not to get bored
Write a letter of at least 100 words.
Hi, Kate!
I'm reading a book "Treasure island" now. It's about main
hero Jim Hawkins and a pirates. Their lead is John Silver, and they are
not good. My dad recommended me to read it, because we wathced film
about it, it's not like a book.
My favourite literary genre is an
anventure fiction. It's interesting for me because main character travels
around some interesting places, gets in sometimes dangerous situations.
In "anventures of Tom Sawyer" even first chapter where he painted a
fence was interesting, because he told everyone that not every day you
can paint the fence, and they gived some things to paint it.
I can
give some pieces of advice on how to spend holidays not to get bored.
You shouldn't spend all the day by doing only one thing (for example,
reading books - going for a walk - helping parents etc.) You can also
play table games with your friends, or just go to the park or somewhere
else, because it's more interesting with friends. When all the job is
done, you can watch films and educational videos.
Bye,
Daniel.
